A busy architectural practice based in Hexham is seeking a talented architectural technologist with a minimum of 5 years of UK based experience to work on a range of projects across the north of England.
Due to retirement we are offering an excellent opportunity to work on some very interesting and varied projects. Our projects involve bespoke, residential, conservation, traditional refurbishments and as well as modern architecture.
You must be self-motivated, technically strong, have a great eye for detail be able to create high quality results. The ideal candidate will preferably have over 5 years of experience and will be a confident all-rounder with the ability to work as an individual or as part of a design team, from inception to completion.
Previous experience working on both existing buildings as well as new-build projects, is required along with demonstrating a strong understanding of the technical process. A thorough and up-to-date working knowledge of Building Regulations is essential. An understanding and experience of the Planning process would also be a benefit.
Ideally you will be a member of CIAT, be competent with the use of AutoCAD and/ or Revit and have experience with NBS Scheduling software. You also need to be fully conversant with Microsoft Office applications.
Duties will involve producing drawings and documents for Planning Applications, Building Regulations detailing, preparing schedules and construction drawings and general project administration and co-ordination. You should also be experienced in client liaison and developing relationships with fellow professionals.
