A management plan funded by Natural England was prepared for the National Trust. An initial safety inspection and access protocol was prepared.
Vegetation clearance was arranged to enable access and inspection. The plan included full archaeological, arboricultural, ecological, structural and condition survey of the hall. The hall was fully recorded, with detailed plans, elevations and rectified imagery of the external and internal elevations.
A full team of consultants were coordinated and managed to prepare the plan. A detailed condition survey was carried out which catalogued all the defects, proposed remedial works, prioritised the necessary repairs and costed the work necessary to bring the hall into a good state of repair. The plan is currently being used as the basis for funding applications.
